Kiss on Chinese Valentine's Day 2007
Lovers participate a kissing contest at the foot of Huaying Mountain, southwest China's Sichuan Province August 18, 2007 to celebrate the eve of Chinese Valentine's Day. About 150 pairs took part in the contest. The festival is called Double Seventh Festival, which falls on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month.
Hungarians reconquer world kissing record
Hungarians have broken the world record for simultaneous kissing when more than 6400 couples joined lips for a few seconds at a party outside the country's parliament, the organisers said.
Hungary has been engaged in a kissing duel with the Philippines since 2004, when 5327 couples kissed in Manila, followed by new records in Budapest in 2005 and 6124 couples in Manila again this February.
"The news came a few months ago that Filipinos had overtaken us, we became defiant and said we would take it back again," journalist Ferenc Pallagi who organised the Kissing Party, said.
One young couple who identified themselves as Orsi and Pityu started kissing during the rock concert half an hour before the official record attempt.
"That's the least we can do for the nation," Pityu said.
Pallagi said he was pleased the square in front of the ornate parliament building by the river of Danube was the scene of such peaceful emotions. The square had been cordoned off for months after being the scene of protests against the government.
"It is early summer. . .and how else could these young people express themselves than through their love and emotions," he said before the couples in white baseball caps kissed and the concert resumed.
Longest Wedding Dress Train
Oh my! Imagine trying to walk down the altar in this? I pity the poor bride and bridemaids that have to manage this train.
A bride in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou will soon walk down the aisle wearing the country's longest wedding dress. Her fiancé contracted a local tailor to make the wedding gown, with the dress' train stretching for 200.8 meters, Guangzhou Daily reported. The bridegroom says the length echoes the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. It has set a new domestic record, grabbing the title from the previous holder at 99 meters. The couple's wedding is scheduled for Monday, after which the dress will be put on for charity auction. Via CRIEnglish.com 
the fiancé's, then I say he should be left at the altar! Surprisingly (to me at least), this did not set the world record. According to Guinness World Records, the winner of that title goes to Andreas Evstratiou of Cyprus. She set that record in February 2007 with a train 1,362 m long. Top that!

Worlds Longest Hot Dog
This is a photo of the current world’s longest hot dog which measures in at 60.3m in length and the world record was made at the Akasaka Prince Hotel in Tokyo in 2006.
This world record was certified by Guinness and the photo was taken by Tim Lindenschmidt, now what would be weird would be to see you try and eat the whole hot dog…are you hungry.
